Kitty Hawk Kites is partnering with Surfrider Foundation Outer Banks Chapter to host a socially distanced State Park cleanup at Jockey’s Ridge State Park Saturday, April 24th. Participants will meet outside of the Kitty Hawk Kites Hang Gliding School located at 302 Carolista Dr, Nags Head, 27959. Preregistration is encouraged for this event.

Surfrider Foundation is a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches. Surfrider’s Outerbanks Chapter has tackled issues such as water quality and offshore energy while working to give back to the community through scholarship programs, events, and beach cleanups. Surfrider will have “be the wave of change” t-shirts for sale for $25 as well as raffle prizes at the tent during check-in. All proceeds will go towards their organization and commitment to keeping our oceans and beaches clean.
