The spirit of Aloha is coming back to Hatteras Island on June 28 and 29. Friends, music lovers, visitors, surfers and film buffs are all invited to the family friendly film and music festival at Waves Village in Rodanthe. Take part in some of the never before screened movies from the Endless Summer series and enjoy live music from The Tear Drops, Life Hacks, Cha Cha’s Cadillac and closing out the evening with Ghosts of Evolution.
The Feature films are “Surf Crazy”, by Bruce Brown, “I Know Jack” and “It Ain’t Pretty”.
In honor of legendary pro surf photographer, Mickey McCarthy, local artists and artisans are invited to show their artwork and sell some of their wares to encourage others and youth to partake and be involved in creating art.
Event proceeds will benefit the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station in Rodanthe for all of their hard work and efforts in helping others on the beach.
