Corolla Bear and Banks, a wild horse, meet for the first time. Banks tells Corolla Bear an old horse legend about how the wild horses gained their freedom and arrived in the Outerbanks (OBX) in the early 1500s. Based on actual events.
AUTHOR BIO
J.B. Butcher was born in Jamestown, NY. His family moved south to Columbia, SC when he was a child. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he majored in Advertising. He enjoys gardening, sitting around campfires and listening to stories, and the outdoors. His childhood memory of his grandmother reading stories to him is his inspiration for writing to both children and adults: “I hope that my stories inspire parents to take some time out of their busy day to sit down and read to their children. Reading to children is invaluable for the development of their imagination, and gives both the parent and child a chance to bond in a very busy world. It’s priceless.”
