What can I expect?
On our ghost tour an experienced guide will walk you through the streets and docks of Historic Downtown Manteo. Your guide will share spooky local history, spine chilling personal accounts and maybe even give you some clues about Americas oldest mystery. Keep your camera handy, you never know what you might see.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing water, and snacks are welcome! You are welcome to use our ghost detecting technology or if you have your own you are welcome to bring that along as well at the discretion of the guide.
What should I wear?
We recommend dressing for current weather conditions. A large portion of the tour will take place by the water and breezy conditions could make it cooler than expected. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, we will be walking about a mile throughout the evening.
Can I bring my kids?
We accept all ages. You may get lucky and have a guest on your tour who’s a couple hundred years old….
How far of a walk is it?
We will walk about a mile, with frequent stops. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as there is limited seating at each stop.
How long is the tour?
Tours generally run about an hour to an hour and a half and in that time we will walk about a mile.
Am I guaranteed to see a ghost?
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to get the spirits on our payroll, so we cannot guarantee a sighting. But we do suggest bringing cameras. You never know what may happen!
