Welcome to our March 2007 Newsletter.

Spring is in full swing on the Outer Banks. The weather is perfect for multiple activities like kite flying, kiteboarding, kayaking, and hang gliding. To add to this we have 2 upcoming festivals that are free for the whole family. These include free kite flying, kite lessons games, & kite making. Also, on April 7th we an Easter Egg hunt for children of all ages. It will include prizes, candy, and toy filled eggs.

March 26 - 31 - 8th Annual Kite Week - All over the Outer Banks! Join in the fun of kiting. Learn the science behind flying kites, the art behind flying, and enjoy the fun for the whole family. Kitty Hawk Kites will be doing school assemblies, community demos, and sharing the joy of flight. 877-FLY-THIS or 252-441-4124.

March 31 - April 1 - Kitty Hawk Kites Fly Into Spring Kite Festival - Jockey's Ridge State Park & Jockey's Ridge Crossing (mp 12.5), Nags Head, NC. Come and start off the kiting season right.We will have informal, free kite flying lessons, including a mass ascension, and lots of games, demos, and free kite making for the kids. April 7th - Kitty Hawk Kites, Nags Head (mp 12.5). Family fun with the Outer Banks Largest Easter Egg hunt. Over 2000 candy and toy-filled eggs waiting to be collected. Also, random eggs will have gift certificates to local stores, restaurants, as well as the “Grand Prize”. One lucky egg holds a free birthday party from Kitty Hawk Kites Birthday Center!
