the race
The 3 Mile kayak race will start at 8am at the Conch St. Beach Access, MP 12 in Nags Head. The race ends at the Ramada Plaza, which is 3 miles to the north. You can pre-regiester for the race by clicking here or you can register at the Nags Head Kitty Hawk Kites location, MP12.5 at Jockey's Ridge Crossing.
the competition
The waters of the Atlantic await the best sea kayakers on the coast as they show what they've got! The comptition starts at 10am and is broken down into several levels and categories. Pre-register for the competition by clicking here or visit the Kitty Hawk Kites location in Nags Head (MP12.4) at Jockey's Ridge Crossing.
the event
Watch some of the best sea kayakers on the coast compete in the surf kayak competition. Spectators can enjoy other Ocean Games, including a sandcastle competition, kite and toy demonstrations, and demos and trial runs of the newest kayaks offered!
